A woman who went wedding dress shopping believes they have accidentally created a 'glitch in the matrix' after her dress showed 'three different realities'.
Tessa Coates took to Instagram on Saturday (4 November) to share a photo that made her 'nearly vomit in the street'.
You can listen to her tell the story below:
Trying the wedding dress on, Tessa is pictured in front of two mirrors - and at first glance - it looks like a pretty normal photo.

But if you look closely, you'll notice something rather strange.
Take a look below:
If you still haven't clocked it, let me explain.

The photo shows Tessa from the back with one arm across her body, and one arm down by her side.
However, if you look in the mirror, the fiancée has her arms in front of her - in a different position.
Wait, it gets even more weird.
The reflection in the other mirror shows her arms in another different position, with both of her arms down.

"Okay hello! Upgraded from stories to the grid. I went wedding dress shopping and the fabric of reality crumbled," Tessa wrote in her caption.
"This is a real photo, not photoshopped, not a pano, not a Live Photo.
"If you can’t see the problem, please keep looking and then you won’t be able to unsee it."
She continued to write perhaps the most unique engagement announcement ever: "Please enjoy this glitch in the matrix/photo that me nearly vomit in the street. Also, I’m engaged!"

The photo went viral after it was shared on the Scroll Deep page, with the TikToker asking: "Can you see what's wrong with this picture?
"This is the new viral dress that is driving the internet absolutely nuts.
"Here it is. Two entirely different reflections, three realities in one go.
"What is the explanation? I think possibly something to do with a ghost or a Dracula.

"Also, if you're like a scientist and you have a scientific explanation, please enlighten us."
Many were stumped, as one person wrote: "This is so weird I can’t stop zooming in trying to find a glitch."
"How is this possible?!?! Magic mirrors!?" a second asked, as another added: "This whole sequence of events is both absolutely terrifying and hilarious."
Offering a possible explanation, one user suggested: "t’s very simple. When taking any photo with a modern cellphone, especially in low light, it takes scans from left to right. Any movement will be captured even if not a pano because the mirrors are staticky placed but the subject is moving."
Someone else agreed: "I'm not a scientist but I know a bit about cameras/photography and phone cam shutter speed is slower to capture more detail so I bet it has something."
A third person argued: "This isn't about shutter speed as the photo would be blurry.
"It's more likely to do with image bracketing where the camera takes multiple photos."
I personally think a glitch in the matrix is the only explanation that is any fun.
