A great-grandmother has celebrated her 110th birthday and in doing so, revealed her secret to long life.
With the average age of a woman sitting at 89 years old when they pass away, Bridget Grocke is more than excelling when it comes to living - and having fun while doing so.
The matriarch, from Australia, recently turned 110, having been born back on 18 November, 1914, when the First World War broke out.

One of seven children, Bridget's childhood saw her move around the country due to her father's job as a train driver, and her mother looked after the entire family with only one arm after losing it in an accident.
Now, for the past six decades, the Perth woman has been having the same drink every single day - something she says is key to her long life.
We're talking about a can of Emu Export.

A 4.2 percent beer, it is a staple in Australia. The beer itself has only been around for 10 years longer than Bridget has been on Earth.
And she reckons that the beer, which is brewed in Western Australia, is integral to her long life and young looks.
Bridget says: "If there was a whole heap of beer and someone said, 'which one's your favourite?', naturally, I'd have to say that."
And when asked what her morning brew tasted like, Bridget cheekily said: "Beer!"

Alongside having a beer every single day, she said the hoppy beverage isn't the only thing that's helped her enjoy a long and healthy life.
"I think that if you're nice to people they'll be nice to you," she told 9 News.
Speaking about Bridget, her daughter Jan Robertson said her mum's 'great sense of humour' helps her stay young at heart as well as a positive approach to life.

During her years, Bridget has received numerous letters from the UK Royal Family, with the late Queen Elizabeth II as well as King Charles III giving her their congratulations.
The plan now is to have a massive party this weekend, with another on Monday. And we're sure there will be plenty of Emu Export on ice.
Despite being 110, she's not the oldest Aussie on the planet. Nope, that gong goes to Lorna Henstridge.
Also 110 years old, Lorna was born five months before Bridget. A silver medal isn't too bad, mind.

The oldest person on Earth is Tomiko Itooka, who is 116 years old and lives in a nursing home in Japan.
