'Millions of women' are apparently into a very specific type of bedroom activity.
We've had so many sex trends in the past, from BDSM escapades after Fifty Shades of Grey came out, to the 'taboo' cheaters and homewreckers trend that's been going around.
But this one is something that many women can get behind.

According to sex expert Dr Nicole K McNichols, this kink has been around forever, and it has nothing to do with being touched.
But men are still clueless about it.
We're talking about the 'praise kink', otherwise known as affirmation play or the 'good girl' trope.

McNichols explained on TikTok: "People who have praise kinks get turned on by their partner complimenting them during sex.
"Praise kink exists on a continuum of course, because, I mean, who doesn't love being told that they're beautiful or hot or amazing in some way?"
Since doing the rounds online, many people are speaking about about their fetish for affirmations, including data columnist Jana Hocking.
In an article for the Daily Mail, Hocking admitted that 'it's horrendously self-centred, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless to admit to'.

However, she's 'very much on board with it', adding: "It has had a whopping 60 million views on TikTok so clearly I'm not the only one lapping it up."
Hocking continued: "The kink involves people who get off on hearing how wonderful they are (especially in the bedroom).
"So if you are like me and you go a bit wild when your fella calls you a 'good girl' while getting it on between the sheets... welcome, you are part of the 'praise kink' tribe.
"Other popular praises that people in this tribe like to hear include: 'You're doing such a great job', 'Your boobs look amazing from this angle', 'You're so good at that' and 'Baby, you feel amazing.'

"Okay, full disclosure... that's what I get off on, but others do too."
This praise kink category continues to grow on TikTok, with hundreds of people giving their take on the niche.
One person wrote in the comments of a video explaining the kink: “I can assure you that most romance book girls would likely have this kink!”

Another confirmed: “I told him. He does it more now. Best day ever!”
There was even one instance of a woman who shared a screen-record of a multi-player game in which she received praise from her virtual partner, who repeatedly told her 'nice job' and 'that's amazing' as she took out their opponents.
Alongside the footage, she wrote: "This guy was feeding my praise kink all game without even knowing it."
Another TikToker said: "So I've been seeing that it's been trending on TikTok that... a lot of girls are realising that they have a praise kink.
"Just to let you know, if you have a praise kink, you probably have words of affirmation in your top two love languages."
