Do you ever have those days where things just don't go your way? TikToker and radio presenter Sophie Montague looked set for one of those when she set off on her morning commute and ended up on a ferry.
I know, I know, you have questions, and so do I. Allow Sophie to explain the situation herself below:
The TikToker, who works at Made in Kent radio, was just trying to get to work last week when she looked around and found herself on a ferry.

She'd chosen to drive to work that day instead of getting the tube, and was happily driving along when she came up to the River Thames.
Obviously cars need some way of crossing the river, and a bridge is usually the way to do this, so as Sophie followed the cars in front she assumed she was just continuing on another road.
Nope. She was actually driving on to a boat.
Sophie explained: "I have actually ended up on a ferry. I'm just trying to commute - I'm just trying to commute to work. I thought it was a road and I'm on a freaking ferry."

The presenter panned the camera around to show her surroundings, and to be fair, the tarmac ground in front of her did look like a pretty normal road. It was the boat surrounding that road that was more of a giveaway.
Sophie didn't mention whether there were any signs indicating that she might be about to drive on to a ferry, but she later found it that it was the Woolwich Ferry; a free vessel which transports customers across the Thames from Woolwich on the south bank with North Woolwich on the north.
"I genuinely thought I was like, going into a tunnel," she said in another video. "I wasn't, I was going on to a ferry. It started spinning to turn, so everything was spinning around me, I thought 'oh my God, am I drunk?'"

"That was a very, very dramatic and traumatic commute to work this morning I'll have you know," she added.
Viewers have expressed relief that Sophie didn't end up in France or Belgium as a result of her blunder, and in spite of the unexpected detour, she assured viewers that she did manage to make it to work at the radio station.
If nothing else, at least she arrived with a good story to tell her listeners!
