A woman who married her high school bully has spoken about how they fell in love.
Lauren Enslow, from Utah, US, was teased mercilessly by her now hubby, Lucas Olsen, when they were teens.
Lucas would film her in the school corridors, while his friends would call her names, like 'Linda' from Bob's Burgers.

But after the 20-year-old was involved in a car accident in 2017, Lucas, 21, reached out to see if she was ok, and the pair have never looked back.
Lauren says they quickly grew very close, and the bullying stopped.
Four years after they started seeing each other, in July 2022, Lucas proposed on a mountaintop.
And a few months later, the couple, who had previously been friends before the bullying started, tied the knot.

Speaking about their romance, Lauren said: “It’s funny that I can call him my high school bully and high school sweetheart.
“I have forgiven him. He used to call me Linda from Bob’s Burgers and I didn’t like being compared to her at all. I hated him then.
“But I got a soft spot for him when he reached out after my accident.

“We ended up developing feelings for each other.
“People say they would never have forgiven him, but I can’t base his personality off who he was for three months when he was 16.”
Lucas says he regrets being so mean to Lauren, putting it down to adolescent immaturity.
"When you are that young you think things like that are funny," he said.

"I never actually thought she looked like that cartoon character, my friends and I were just coming up with characters to compare Lauren and all her friends to as a joke that ended up going a little too far.
"I teased her because in the moment I think it was a mix of because I liked her and because my friends were doing it as well. Peer pressure, in a way."
Things changed between them when Lauren was involved in a car crash, which Lucas witnessed.

Luckily, she and her family were ok, but when Lauren posted a photo of her banged-up car to Snapchat, she was shocked to receive a message from Lucas.
Soon the pair began 'hanging out' and 'developed feelings' for one another.
“He apologised for teasing me," Lauren recalled.
A few months later, they were official, and it wasn't long until the wedding bells were ringing.
“People say they could never marry their high school bully,” she said. "But for me it was mostly teasing, and I got past it.”
Lucas added: "I’m a strong believer of everything happens for a reason and I love that it finally happened.
"Marrying your high school sweetheart is the most beautiful thing I could ever dream for."
