The holidays might be one of the most wonderful times of the year, but it's also one of the busiest.
This is especially the case when it comes to presents, which not only have to be carefully thought of but carefully wrapped too. This is how you can do it without sellotape:
However, as most of us have learned the hard way, with all the stress of the season, things can and do go wrong, especially if you happen to forget something important like sellotape.

While you might think this would make wrapping a present completely impossible, it turns out that you can still do it, as has recently been proven on TikTok.
In fact, it's been presented as something of a challenge to users of the video-sharing app.
A video of it being done was shared to TikTok in response to a user who wrote: "I have a challenge for you try wrapping a gift with no tape [sic]."
The challenge was presented to the wikpress account, which has been sharing a lot of handy wrapping tips in the lead-up to Xmas day.

As you can imagine, this tapeless wrapping went far from unnoticed on the website, and the video has been viewed over 4.5 million times since it was posted on 11 December.
Viewers were quick to rush to the comments section to praise the wrap itself.
One wrote: "That's the cleanest rap I've seen."

"The actual challenge is to wrap a gift on a carpet," added a second, while a third joked: "Not me realising my husband who is a sterile processing tech will be wrapping presents like this."
A fourth, meanwhile, noted that presents wrapped without tape - or even string - won't be the most secure.
"Yet kid sneaks in there opens it and closes it back," they speculated. "I'll stick to taping it up nice and secure [sic]."
A fifth revealed: "This is how we wrapped surgical packs at the Vet clinic I used to work at, twice wrapped and sterilized."

"Doing this for my 16-month-old so she can unwrap better and faster thank you!" share a sixth.
An eighth, meanwhile, suggested gift bags as an option for anyone who doesn't want to wrap their presents with tape.
They wrote: "yes but that is a small gift to wrap. some of mine are a lot bigger. I've taken the easy option and use gift bags [sic]."
What do you think of this wrapping? Would you be willing to give it a go as a fun holiday challenge or will you be sticking by your tape?
