It’s no secret that Walt Disney World Resort is ‘the most magical place on earth’, and one little girl will vouch that’s true as Toy Story’s Woody went out of his way to make sure Jessie didn’t ignore her pleas for a hug. Check out the video below:
During a parade at the theme park complex in Orlando, Florida, the performer dressed up as the Toy Story protagonist saved saved the day when a young girl almost missed her chance to meet her favourite Toy Story character while at the park on 1 August.

The costumed performer playing Jessie the cowgirl could be seen dancing around and didn’t seem to notice six-year-old Havyn wearing a cowgirl dress – or her family all shouting 'Jessie!' enthusiastically – until cowboy Woody gives her a nudge.
Jessie then charged over to give the child a well-deserved hug.
In a video captured by Havyn’s father, Harold Colclough, showed the family working to get the employee’s attention, and the sweet payoff as they finally met.

Harold said that young Havyn is ‘obsessed' with the Jessie character and even has two Jessie dolls and a Jessie-themed dress.
The video has gone viral on TikTok, racking up more than 333.6k likes and a slew of comments from onlookers, with one penning: “Awww so precious!”
“The way she ran and hugged the little girl like she personally knew her,” another person commented, while someone else added: “Awww and then Jessie sprinted over for the hug.”
The clip comes after another viral video showed two girls of colour being ignored by a Sesame Street character during a Sesame Place parade in Philadelphia.

Others reflected on this in Harold’s video, writing: “Woody said ‘this ain't sesame st.’”
“Woody saw all that Sesame Place commotion goin on,” wrote another, while someone else added: “Woody Said ‘Y’all ain’t about to sue us, I gotta get paid.’”
“Sesame St would never! That’s why Disney is Disney,” a different fan noted.
