Comedian Lee Mack called a The 1% Club contestant a ‘greedy sod’ after admitting he's won millions before.

For those unaware, the premise of the show is when 100 contestants battle it out with the hopes of making it to the latter stages of the competition to answer one winning question that only one percent of the country knows the answer to.

If answered correctly, the winner gets a £100,000 cash prize.

Well, on June 3, the ITV host, 54, was left unimpressed by contestant Kevin who said he has won millions on the national lottery.

It all started when Kevin didn't manage to get the 90 percent question right and his time in the competition was over.

“You’ve been unlucky tonight, are you usually unlucky?” Lee asked.

“I’ve been very lucky in the past,” Kevin replied.

To which a puzzled Lee said: “In what respect?”

Kevin was loving it.

Kevin shocked the entire room when he said: “I’ve won the lottery.”

He claims that he won a whopping £6 million from the national lottery.

“£6.1 million to be precise,” he quipped, as everyone, apart from Lee, cheered him on.

Lee joked: “£6 million quid?! And you want another £100 grand? You greedy sod!”

The player then replied: “I wanted to come on here for the challenge but sadly not done very well.”

Fair play, I mean with six million quid, I'd probably be sat on a beach somewhere.

Earlier this year, The 1% Club made history as 12 contestants made it through to the final round for the first time ever.

However, some viewers were calling it an 'easy question'.

The 1% Club has made history in their most recent episode as 12 contestants made it through to the final round on an 'easy question'.

They were asked: "The following four words have a hidden pattern in common. What is it? BEAR FARM CHIP SNAIL."

The answer is that they are all body parts - bEAR, fARM, cHIP, sNAIL.

Don't worry, I didn't have a clue either.

Although the group bravely decided to carry on with the game, only two people out of 12 ended up getting the final question right.

The '1% question' read: "What letter replaces the question mark in this sequence? YYHLY?YTRRRR."

If you haven't figured it out yet, the answer was 'E' (June) as the sequence marks the last letters of each month of the year.

Although many of us would have found that impossible to guess, some viewers also thought the question was 'easy', as one person commented: "The show is far too easy."

While another said: "I wanna do this 1% club on ITV, it seems very easy.
