This is the moment Adele FaceTimed a group of fans after cancelling her Las Vegas residency at the last minute:
The 33-year-old star appeared to be emotional as her fans performed a rendition of 'Make You Feel My Love' down the phone at her.
On one of the calls, she urged the fans to use a free drink token she offered them before realising they were underage.
With others she warned them not to spend too much after promising to make sure each ticket-holder would receive a free bag from her with merchandise inside.
The award-winning singer made the tearful announcement that her show was not ready the day before its opening night, having been 'absolutely destroyed' by delivery delays and coronavirus.
She explained that her production team had tried 'absolutely everything' to pull the show together in time but that it had been 'impossible'.
In an emotional post on social media announcing the last-minute decision, she apologised to fans and promised that dates would be rescheduled.
She said: “I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.
“Half my team are down with Covid, they still are, and it’s impossible to finish the show.
“I can’t give you what I have right now and I’m gutted and I’m sorry it’s so last minute.”
The 'Easy On Me' singer said team members had been awake for 'over 30 hours' trying to figure out how to put on the show but they had now 'run out of time'.
She went on: “I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m so sorry to everyone who has travelled again. I’m really sorry.
“We’re on it right now, we’re going to reschedule all the dates and I’m going to finish my show and I’m going to get it to where it needs to be.
“It’s been impossible, we’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready. I’m really sorry.”
In her most recent tweet, she thanked her fans for showing 'graciousness and love' despite the cancellations.
Responding to her message, someone wrote: "Know that we love you beyond measure. 8pm is still coming. The love is still there at the Colosseums. You won’t be able to miss it. You are our light, always, now it's our turn."
Another added: "We'll stand still and let the storm pass by, keep YOUR heart safe 'til the time feels right."
