An airport worker was stunned after a man tried to bring a 'gun' through security.
On a resurfaced episode of Border Security: Australia's Front Line, we witnessed another nail-biting moment as a passenger attempted to pass through security with some suspicious-looking items.
The TV show, which began in 2004, follows the work of officers of Australian Customs and Border Protection.

Most of the programme is filmed at Sydney and Melbourne airports, while occasionally, the program features other locations such as Brisbane Airport and Perth Airport.
However, viewers are scratching their heads over a re-surfaced clip which has gone viral on TikTok.
The video shows a man with a baseball cap in conversation with airport security about the content in his bag.

Meanwhile staff member Michael uses an X-ray to spot something that looks rather like a concealed weapon in the man's suitcase.
After a back and forth between Michael and the passenger, who refuses to admit he's carrying anything dodgy, the airport employee opens up his luggage to find a mysterious box.
Inside the box is a metal lighter in the shape of a gun and Michael can't figure out if it's legit or not.

While he gets a hand-gun expert to look at the item, the security guard also finds a ninja throwing star in the passengers case.
The passenger claims that it's just a house decoration.
Michael warns him that throwing stars are illegal in the state and it cannot be carried on board.

Viewers are shocked by the clip as one person commented: "Bro just tossed every questionable item he could find in his bag and headed to the airport."
Another added: "Bros dealing with the terminator."
Others were questioning how dangerous the throwing star was.
"Australia security scared as hell about a throwing star. When’s the last time anyone was attacked with a throwing star," a third wrote.

"Really who’s gonna try n take over a plane with a throwing star," someone else sarcastically wrote.
I think given what's happened over the years in airport settings, there's no harm in security staff being extra careful.
Plus it makes great TV.
