A Brendan Fraser fan whose compliments made the actor well up with emotion in a viral video has been left in tears herself after learning she would get to meet her hero in person.
It's no secret that Fraser is one of the most beloved stars out there today, with fans falling in love thanks to '90s films such as The Mummy and remaining dedicated decades on, when Fraser is now earning calls for an Oscar thanks to his new film The Whale.

One longtime fan of the 53-year-old is TikTok user Lindley, who made her love for Fraser known to the public last year thanks to a meet-and-greet organised through GalaxyCon Live, which connects fans with celebrities via video calls.
During the call, Fraser made reference to his work alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro in Martin Scorsese's movie Killers of the Flower Moon and admitted he was nervous about the job.
Lindley wasted no time in trying to boost Fraser's confidence as she responded with a heartfelt comment, saying: "You've got this. You've got this. Just know that the internet is so behind you. We're so supportive. There are so many people out there who love you, and we're rooting for you. And we can't wait to see what you do next."

Fraser responded to her compliment by smiling and taking a swig of water, seemingly choked up with emotion as he responded: "Shucks, ma'am."
Footage from the exchange quickly went viral, and Lindley has continued to use her TikTok account to reminisce about the call and reiterate her love for Fraser.
She described the chance to chat with Fraser as a 'dream come true', but little did she know that one year on she'd find herself one step closer to her hero.
In a clip shared last week, Lindley filmed herself in tears and revealed she was 'going to get to meet [Fraser] in person' thanks to New York Comic Con, which recently unveiled a first look at its programme.

The actor is set to appear on Saturday, 8 October, and Sunday, 9 October at the event which takes place at New York's Javits Center, where fans will have the chance to snap a photo with Fraser and get his autograph.
Lindley has said she 'can't wait' to meet Fraser after previously sharing a video call with him, and many of her followers are just as excited as they have described the event as 'history in the making'.
Here's hoping Fraser is everything Lindley dreams he will be!
