Since the true-crime documentary The Tinder Swindler on Netflix has received such a huge following, home-viewers are now wondering what has happened to Simon Leviev’s former girlfriends since the filming of the series, including victim Cecilie Fjellhoy.
The documentary showcases “a group of women who were the victims of a dating app based swindler join together in an attempt to hunt him down and recover the millions of dollars that were stolen from them”, according to the series’ synopsis.
Leviev is the false identity of Shimon Hayut, born in Bnei Brak, Israel. Hayut conned women into believing he was Leviev, a well-off jetsetter and the son of Israeli businessman, the “King of Diamonds”, Lev Leviev.

Fjellhoy, who lost $200,000 because of Simon Leviv’s scam, is still paying off her debts as a result.
However, she still appears to remain good friends with another of the fraudster’s victims, Pernilla Sjöholm.
The pair have shared photos on Instagram together, and even jetted off to Greece together.
