It seems Amber Heard is moving on with her life after her highly-publicised defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
The pair first met in 2009, got married in 2015 and divorced in 2017.
However, 2018 was the start of a brutal back and forth when Heard posted an online article in the Washington Post titled: “I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change.”

Although she did not name Depp by name, his lawyers claimed that it falsely implied that he physically and sexually abused Heard while they were together.
When Heard was sued for defamation in 2022, she then launched a counterclaim, accusing Depp of fronting a 'smear campaign' against her.
After almost three weeks of trial in Virginia, US, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor's legal team convinced a jury that Heard's 2018 article was defamatory.

Depp was awarded $15 million (£12 million), later capped at $10.35 million (£8.27 million) by Judge Penny Azcarate.
In a separate verdict, Heard also received $2 million (£1.6 million) in damages for the counterclaim.
Fast forward to 2024, the Aquaman actor, 38, has seemingly moved on from the ordeal by moving out of the US shortly after trial.
Heard has reportedly moved to Mallorca, Spain, looking to start a new life with her daughter.

She'll be hard to look up though, after El Diario de Mallorca reported that she's even changed her name.
The Hollywood star is said to go by Martha Jane Cannary, the real name of old-West American sharpshooter Calamity Jane, according to reports.
Heard also happens to be fluent in Spanish, telling reporters in 2023 that she loves her new location.

"The choice of this identity, which appears at the entrance of her new Mallorcan home, draws much attention," El Diario de Mallorca wrote.
"Especially as Johnny Depp always maintained that his family trace their roots to ancient Native American tribes and that his great-great-grandmother was Cherokee."
"She is focused on raising her daughter," a source told PEOPLE in 2022. "She spends every day with her girl. They stroll around, visit parks and enjoy family time. Amber is a great mom."

Meanwhile, two years on, Depp, 61, is reportedly in a 'good place'.
“Johnny is in a good place,” a source told US Weekly. “He really feels at home in London. He’s happy and busy. There’s been a weight lifted.”
