When you’re watching your favourite Brit killing it on the big screen, you might not have realised some of them have been f**king on the big screen too.
Not always properly, properly but there are some British celebrities who you may never have realised had ‘real’, unsimulated sex on screen.
Sometimes this kind of filming for a film or show happens due to the director’s choice or simply due to a star’s own preference.

Letterboxd previously unveiled a list of films featuring actors getting down and dirty without body doubles, so here’s a highlight of the British names in the mix.
Kieran O’Brien in 9 Songs
It’s pretty well known that this is said to be one of the most sexually explicit films you could lay your eyes on from this century, as it sees O’Brien engage in multiple sex scenes with Margo Stilley.

The 2004 film tells the story of an intense relationship between a young couple, charting their first encounter at Brixton Academy to their split. Featuring oral sex and ejaculation, O’Brien said it ‘wasn’t difficult’ for him to make and that despite controversy, he was ‘really proud’ of it.
And reflecting on the movie 20 years later, Stilley also told LADbible she stands by the film to this day, despite facing heavy backlash over the years.
“It's a shame that it's been torn apart into these little pieces and bastardised online, to be honest,” she said.
Robert Pattison in Little Ashes
While many of us might know him best for playing a sparkly vampire who just can’t stand the smell of Kristen Stewart or as Matt Reeves’ emo Batman, Pattison has had plenty of other roles. Like back in 2008 when he played Spanish artist Salvador Dali in 2008's Little Ashes.

And one particular scene has Pattinson pleasuring himself for real on camera as he believed that faking such things 'doesn't work' as far as authenticity goes.
Speaking to Interview magazine in Germany, he said: "My orgasm face is recorded for eternity."
Mark Rylance in Intimacy
In the 2001 film, Rylance plays a bartender in a casual relationship with a mysterious woman, played by Kerry Fox.

And with Intimacy featuring an unsimulated oral sex act, the actor said it was the ‘most difficult job’ he took largely due to it.
He said: "I was convinced it was a vital story about the difficulties people face finding intimacy in a big city like London.
"Hanif Kureishi's writing couldn't have been more intimate and revealing, but I found the making of the film and the subsequent publicity and personal attacks very, very painful. I wish I hadn't made it."
