There are many ways to show your devotion to a spouse, surprise gifts, weekends away and heartfelt gestures.
However Busted singer Matt Willis decided to make his devotion to his TV presenter wife Emma permanent and get an image of her face inked onto his body to celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary.
Unveiling his eternal tribute to his wife, Matt shared his ink on social media alongside a heartfelt caption, which read: "Happy Anniversary @emmawillisofficial … I love you more than ever. 16 years and it keeps getting better.

"Thanks @tomftattoo for your amazing work and fitting me in just in time for today."
While Matt was clearly happy with his new ink it seems like the Busted singer may now be getting a lesson in the brutal honesty of the internet, as responses from fans all pointed out the same issue.
Chiefly, you the hell is the woman in the ink supposed to be?

Of course, Matt clearly intended for the image to be a portrait of his wife to honour their long and successful marriage, but his followers were quick to point out that the image unfortunately does not capture the former Big Brother presenter's likeness.
"Is that meant to be Emma," one person wrote, while another joked: "Who's the lady in the tattoo?"
"Fantastic gesture, but that is not winning Ink Master," a third person added.
"I mean.. it’s a nice gesture. It looks nothing like Emma though, and I doubt it’ll look good when healed," a fourth wrote.

Other followers were quick to point out the image's likeness to other celebrities such as Eva Mendes and Angelina Jolie.
"Happy anniversary, nice tattoo although it looks more like Miley Cyrus! Guessing Emma is a big fan of hers!" another joked.
Ouch.

Although most of the comments of Matt's ink were critical, the singer did win over some of his followers with the sweet gesture, as one follower told him to ignore the 'sad and negative trolls' while another called the move 'a lovely idea'.
Dodgy tattoo or not, Matt and Emma's relationship is clearly going strong to reach such a 16-year-milestone.
The couple tied the knot back in 2008 and have since gone on to welcome three children together, born in 2009, 2011 and 2016.
Matt and Emma will also be soon be marking another milestone together as well, as the couple will be hosting the upcoming UK version of hit reality dating show Love is Blind - which is set to premiere on Netflix in August 2024.
