Oasis fans are divided after the first ballot tickets for the band's Wembley shows went on sale today.
Following the nightmare many Brits had last month trying to scramble for tickets to see the brothers, the band announced a special private ballot for the newest dates.
There was ‘unprecedented demand’ for the Oasis reunion tour next summer, leading to two extra dates at Wembley being announced. When tickets to see Liam and Noel Gallagher finally share the stage again went on sale, there was a whole load of backlash as Ticketmaster used ‘dynamic pricing’.

But this time, the ‘Champagne Supernova’ pair announced a special system with tickets to be sold by ‘a staggered, invitation-only ballot process’.
Fans selected in this private ballot were contacted with their codes yesterday (13 September) ahead of the tickets going on sale earlier today.
And it seems people’s experiences of using it so far have been pretty mixed.

One took to X to praise the system, writing: “10 minutes and already a third of my own personal queue gone. Why @TicketmasterUK didn’t do this the first time around is beyond me. Something tells me this is the way forward for future events of this magnitude @oasis.”
Well, 10 minutes is certainly an improvement compared to the long hours fans were queuing for last month.
Another echoed: “Well, knock me down with a feather. Got a code for the 8.30am Oasis ballot. Tickets sorted by 8.35am. No surge pricing. Why, it's almost as if it could always be this painless. Cos we belieeeve...”
Plenty said it’s been ‘very smooth’ and a ‘great process’ this morning as it’s made them feel ‘extra lucky’.

One wrote: “Got to say, that @TicketmasterUK experience for @oasis today was exceptional!”
However, there are still people complaining that tickets are being sold by resellers at ‘ridiculously inflated prices’.
Fans slammed: “Already on resale sights for stupid money. Clearly people are not getting the memo about re selling.” And another warned: “Lads don't get fleeced by Oasis resale prices today it's not worth it.”

Unfortunately, following the ballot this morning, it does seem more tickets have been uploaded to resale sites from prices well over £500 and even 'VIP' passes at over £2,000.
Oasis previously issued a warning against resellers as they said: “We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets."

Given that you're successful in the ballot, you can get your tickets on Ticketmaster, but if you're looking to book yourself a VIP experience, you can visit Seat Unique, with prices TBC.
