Piers Morgan has shared the nickname Katy Perry used to refer to her ex-husband Russell Brand.
Last week, an investigation by The Times, The Sunday Times, and Channel 4’s Dispatches revealed that four different women had brought sexual assault and rape allegations against comedian Russell Brand.

Prior to the investigation being made public, the 48-year-old took to his YouTube channel to deny all the allegations and claim that all of his relationships were consensual.
Following what has been described by Brand as a ‘co-ordinated attack’, Piers Morgan has revealed the nickname the comedian's ex-wife Katy Perry coined for him.
In his column for The Sun, the former ITV Good Morning Britain star discussed Brand’s divorce from the ‘Firework’ star.

He stated that in 2013, he had reportedly asked Perry, now 38, if she wanted to sit down to discuss her thoughts and feelings with him following the pair's divorce.
However, she apparently replied that she was 'not ready yet'.
He went on to say that Perry supposedly continued: “Because you'll get the truth out of me, and I'm just not ready to tell you the truth! In fact, I'm not sure I'm ready to admit the truth to myself.”

Elsewhere in the column, Morgan revealed that Perry used to call her former husband ‘Rasputin’ - in relation to Siberian-born Grigori Rasputin.
Dubbed ‘Russia’s greatest ever love machine’ by Boney M., Rasputin was renowned for seducing women and was also known for the major influence he cast once he befriended the imperial family of Tsar Nicholas II.
According to Piers, Perry said to him: "You Brits are all the same, so damn confident… Trouble is, I find that irresistible. I love Brits… Well, not all of them – not Rasputin, obviously.”
The 58-year-old also went on to say that after finding out the moniker from Perry, he proceeded to tell Brand.

It’s reported that the YouTuber said: “He was a pretty powerful bloke, he could manipulate folk with his eyes.
"I like Rasputin... he was all right, wasn't he... a mad monk with magical, mystical powers, having it off with everyone, drinking and getting into fights.”
Perry and Brand met when she was 25 and he 35 while filming the 2010 movie Get Him To The Greek.

It’s reported that the pair soon began dating after they met up again at the MTV Video Music Awards, and were engaged just three months later.
In October 2010, the couple tied the knot at the Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary in Rajasthan, India, surrounded only by their nearest and dearest friends and family.
However, 14 months later, Brand allegedly sent Perry a text message stating he had filed for divorce. Their divorce was finalised in 2012
