"In awe of my partner Roxy Horner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever."
The heartfelt post continued: "So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.
"I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full-blown dad now."

Whitehall and Horner have been dating since 2020 and announced earlier this year that the they were expecting a baby.
While they're both British, the pair met on separate trips to Australia.
The comedian has admitted that dating someone who is in the industry that he is can be 'stressful', but praised Horner for being 'accepting'.

In a previous interview with The Sun, Whitehall said: "Roxy definitely gets a veto. She can be a tough crowd for my brand of humour but, touch wood, thus far she has been very accepting of me doing routines about her private life on stage.
“It is a blessing she hasn't said no to anything yet. Dating a comedian can be stressful because they go up on stage and tell a load of strangers all about your private life for the sake of comedy.”
