Throughout the year of 2024, Christina Aguilera's appearance was a big topic of conversation online.
The pop star, 44, debuted her incredible new look back in May at a concert in Mexico - although it wasn't really new, as fans thought she 'looked 18 again'.
It seemed as though she had somehow defied the laws of ageing and had reversed the effect that the hands of time have on us, as she popped out looking extremely fresh-faced.

But obviously, the 'Beautiful' singer got a fair bit of flack from trolls too, with people suggesting she had been using Ozempic for weight loss purposes.
Now, Aguilera has made it clear that she hopes that people will keep their opinions to their self a bit more in 2025.
However, even if social media users choose not to take heed of her 'reminder', the former judge on The Voice explained she won't be taking anyones criticisms on board.

In an Instagram post shared on New Year's Eve (31 December), the star shared a video which began with a collage of online comments made about her body - both good and bad.
One said: "I didn't realise that was Christina she looks so different."
Another asked 'how she was looking so good', while a third simply wrote: "Fake."
The post then showed a montage of clips of her throughout the last 12 months, where she looks absolutely incredible.

But it was the caption which really got fans talking, as Aguilera explained she was 'doing something a little different' in 2025.
It read: "This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation.
"I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/ or what you don’t do.

"Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there."
She then added: "I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next everyday in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience and respect..."
Social media users flooded the comment section with support for the music star, with fans dubbing her caption 'inspiring'.
It's not the first time that Aguilera has spoken out about how she feels about her appearance being under so much scrutiny, though.

The 44-year-old opened up during an interview with Glamour magazine last year about the pressure of being in the spotlight and the character assassination that comes with it.
"When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s," she explained.
"I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker'. Then I had industry people: 'They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager'.’
"I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f*** about your opinion. I’m not going to take it on. It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business."
A mic drop moment, for sure.
She explained that becoming a mother also helped her change her mindset.
Aguilera shares son Max, 16, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman and daughter Summer Rain, 10, with her fiancé Matt Rutler.
She added: "Your kids trigger things in you that you don’t want them to go through. And it’s almost like you’re reliving this whole thing again. I’ve seen so much so young. You just want the best for your kids."
