Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to go again with Al Nassr as the new season gets under way after spending the summer living in a £10,000 a night hotel that guests can only get to by boat or plane.
Ronaldo, now aged 39, joined Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr at the beginning of 2023 after a sour spell during his second spell at Manchester United saw his time in European football come to an end.
A huge coup for Saudi Arabia, it saw CR7 become the highest paid footballer in the world once again with a basic salary of £173 million a year.
Ronaldo has hit the ground running at his latest club, scoring 49 goals in 47 games; something he only achieves by sticking to his strict diet and routine.

Following on from Portugal's exit from Euro 2024 in the quarter-finals at the hands of France, Ronaldo spent the end of July and August holidaying in the Middle Eastern country that he and his family now calls home.
Ronaldo spent his downtime with long-term partner Georgina Rodríguez and their children, with the Portuguese legend a father to five.
Booking a stay at The St Regis Red Sea Resort, located in the Ummahat Islands off of the Saudi Arabia mainland, the hotel is on its own private island in the Red Sea between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Accessible only by boat or plane, it costs up to €12,000 a night, which comes in at roughly £10,500.
An incredibly private and exclusive resort, it has become a hotspot with celebrities looking to enjoy as normal a holiday as they can away from eager fans wanting to take photos on every corner.
Those visiting the hotel resort can choose from 90 villas either built over the sea or on the beachfront, with all guests having a personalised butler at their disposal witha round the clock service.
Ronaldo shared images of his holiday to the resort on Instagram, captioning the photos with: "Happy days."

It showed him enjoying time in the ocean with Rodríguez before riding a bike down the beachfront and on to the walkway to the over the ocean villas.

Ronaldo has since returned to Al-Nassr, scoring in the 2024 Saudi Super Cup.
