Move over Heidi Klum as Demi Moore may have just taken the crown for the best celebrity Halloween look after sharing shockingly graphic behind-the-scenes images from her latest movie.
Celebrities, just like the rest of us, enjoy getting into the festive spirit and dressing up for Halloween. However, unlike us, they have a much bigger budget when it comes to creating costumes - which means the end results are often involve hours of prosthetics (Ms Klum) or professionally choreographed photoshoots (the Kardashian-Jenner family).
However it looks like Moore has 'won' Halloween 2024 with her look, which you can take a look at below. The actress used the spooky holiday as an opportunity to promote her latest film The Substance, a gory body horror where Moore plays fading Hollywood star, Elisabeth Sparkle, who takes a 'substance' to create a more youthful version of herself (played by Margaret Qualley).

The film has been a massive hit with fans, going on to gross a worldwide total of $42.4 million (£32.8 million).
Now I know that recycling old set photos doesn't exactly count as a Halloween costume, but we're willing to forgive the Ghost star this time as the disturbing transformation is too good to not share.
In the carousel of images we see Moore, sporting a bald cap and some pretty extreme old age prosthetics as well as a photo of her face made over to look swollen and covered in fake blood.

"Spoiler alert," she captioned the photos on Instagram. "Been holding onto these gems from @trythesubstance and today feels like an appropriate day to share them. Happy Halloween from Elisabeth Sparkle."
Moore also noted that The Substance is now available to stream on MUBI, while various cinemas across the country are currently doing a limited re-run for spooky season.
Moore's followers were equally obsessed and creeped out by the images, with one person commenting: "Pretty iconic if you ask me," while Los Angeles-based hair stylist Sergio Garcia joked: "Lol need me to color [sic] those three little gray my dear?"

Quoting the film, someone else wrote: "Has…there been a…slight misuse of the substance?"
While Moore had clearly decided that recycling her Elisabeth Sparkle looks was enough for this years Halloween, she made sure to praise The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner for her channelling one of her most infamous (and much less gory) roles.
For her not-so-spooky look, Jenner, 27, re-created the promotional poster for Moore's 1996 movie Striptease, a look which the 61-year-old actress loved.

Resharing a comparison of the original poster and Jenner's recreation, Moore told the reality star that she had 'nailed' the look, before sharing a series of side-by-side images from a fan account.
