Admit it, you’ve thought about what you’d say to your favourite celebrity if you got the chance to meet them, right?
Maybe you’d play it cool, maybe you’d tell a joke or maybe you’d blurt out the star's own iconic lines at them.
But what if all that went to waste, and you ‘accidentally’ end up meeting them without even realising?

One restaurant worker found themselves quoting an iconic Shaun of the Dead line at one of the film’s stars, but had no idea it was actually them.
Watch them recall the nightmare situation here:
Sam told TikTok they were working at a restaurant in Cambridge on a particularly quiet afternoon when a 'guy' came in.

“This guy has a face that I feel like I know, I’m like ‘I know this guy from somewhere’. So as he sits down,” the server recalls, “I say to him: ‘Sorry you look really familiar to me, do I know you? Do we know each other from somewhere?’”
But apparently, he ‘didn’t even look up from the menu’ and said: “No, you don’t know me.”
And after leaving him be, while he was eating, he spilled some sriracha on his shirt.

So, Sam took over a dampened cloth for him and said: “Do you want this? You’ve got red on you.”
This did not go down well as the diner looked at them with ‘such anger and disgust’ and angrily said: “What?”
The restaurant worker was left wondering ‘what the f**k’ his problem was as they explained what the cloth was for.
“He looks down and goes ‘Oh, yeah’ and snatches the cloth out of my hand. And I’m like ‘what the f**k is this dude’s problem’, all I did was ask him if I knew him and tell him that he’s f**king spilling his food down himself,” they said.

But it turns out the ‘guy’ was actually Dylan Moran, who played David in Shaun of the Dead.
One of Sam’s co-workers highlighted this to them as they add: “Do you know what else is in Shaun of the Dead?
“The line ‘you’ve got red on you’. No wonder he was angry”

Users joked: “Shame he was rude but tbh I feel like that probably suit him becaue all of his characters are like that.”
Others say he ‘isn’t a rude person’ but an ‘eccentric character’.
Sam later added: “I have a Hot Fuzz tattoo and I adore Edgar Wright so his scripts are imbedded in my speech at this point.”
LADbible has contacted Moran’s reps for comment.
