Taylor Swift and Céline Dion have shut down fan outrage after the 'Anti-Hero' singer allegedly 'blanked' the 55-year-old legend at the Grammys.
The Midnights singer picked up the award for Album of the Year the ceremony last night (4 February), making her the first artist to receive the title four times.
However, despite making music history, the moment went viral for less positive reasons, with Swift being accused of ‘blanking’ icon Céline Dion.

Dion made a surprise rare appearance to present the award, following her diagnosis with the incurable stiff person syndrome.
But amid all the excitement, users on X claim the Grammy winner didn’t even acknowledge the ‘My Heart Will Go on’ singer.

As Swift shared the moment with her collaborators, people point out she didn’t make eye contact with Dion as he took the award from her.
One wrote: “Taylor Swift completely ignoring Celine Dion like she was some trophy model presenter at #GRAMMYs was wild.
"She’s won this three times and usually such a pro. But to ignore an icon, who is dealing with so much? Yikes.”

As others said: “People trying to defend Taylor but c'mon, Celine is a legend.
"She is recovering and had an aid to help her present this award. Taylor could’ve at least looked at her…especially if you’re grabbing the Grammy from her…”
However, the stars were quick to shut this all down as they posed for a snap together backstage.
Dion and Swift smiled for the camera with their arms round one another after exiting the stage following the coveted Grammy win.

Fans were quick to share the photo and say ‘she didn’t ignore her’ as they claim people just ‘hate and lie’ with the photo proving them wrong.
Reacting to claims she’d ‘ignored’ Dion, others shared the snap of the pair simply saying: “Does this count?”
Although some did say: “I wish we had seen that onstage.”

As Dion entered the stage to receive the award, she received a standing ovation with Swift actually singing along to her music in the audience.
“Thank you, all! I love you right back,” Dion said. “You look beautiful.
"When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart.
"Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world."
