This came with a statement, in which she said:
“This definitely isn’t the end of year post I wanted to be writing nor how I wanted to be entering 2025, however my path has been redirected and I have no other option than to surrender to what is and have faith that the universe has bigger and better plans for me.”
She went on to say: “I recently received cancer diagnosis number four.

“Some of you will know small snippets of my story, some of you won’t know anything but long story short eight years ago I was first diagnosed with breast cancer and since then I have experienced three separate recurrences.
“I went public with diagnosis one and two, and diagnosis three I chose to keep private”.
She said regarding her fourth diagnosis that it was ‘an unexpected, monumental shock to all systems’.

She added: “My world has flipped, my life path, my time and my energy have all been redirected and my journey to full health and wellness has restarted."
The DJ also spoke of her journey in the industry, stating she has been DJ’ing ‘mostly sober’ for a few years now.
She said: “What other occupation not only offers but glorifies alcohol and drugs as standard to do what you’ve been paid to do?”
The former footballer said that, prior to DJing mostly sober, that ‘it was just the absolute norm to poison my body every set with little awareness.’

Wants went on to say: “The alcohol, the drugs, the toxic side of the industry, the politics, the no sleep… the pressure to say ‘yes’ to absolutely everything.
“It’s hard to say no when you love what you do, and it’s hard to say no when you want to provide the best life for you and your family.
“Well… my body has said ‘no’ and for the first time in 15 years.”

Wants revealed she is set to take four months off from touring to ‘put [herself] in the best place possible’ to heal.
She finished her statement by saying: “I look forward to getting back behind the decks and dancing with y’all in a few months!
“I also look forward to seeing what comes from this transformational time whether that’s turning emotions into music, new opportunities, new experiences, new people.
“I’m see what the universe has got in store for me.
“Until then here’s to healing, relaxing my nervous system and getting into energetic alignment with the highest outcome.
“Love, light blessing and all that good stuff.”
The comments of her post were full of support, with England footballer Georgia Stanway commenting: “Sending you love”.
Former world champion boxer Chantelle Cameron commented: “You’re a warrior Hannah. You got this.”
