Controversial stars the Island Boys have doubled down on their incestuous kiss after receiving backlash on social media.
If you hadn't heard of the Island Boys before don't worry, you're not the only one. So let's have a quick rundown of who the brothers are and why it is that they're famous.
Twin brothers Alex and Franky Venegas - known online as Flyysoulja and Kodiyakredd - gained a following on TikTok after their 2021 song 'I'm an Island Boy' went viral on the social media platform. It's believed the pair, who both sport a distinctive, heavily tattooed look, had decided to pursue a career in rap music while incarcerated in their home state of Florida.

The 23-year-olds have since capitalised off their newfound fame by doing literally anything to remain relevant.
And we mean literally, anything.

Adding a new level of low to the definition of 'will do anything for fame', the brothers went viral back in 2023 after engaging in an incestuous kiss in order to promote their OnlyFans account.
Yep, you read that right. The brothers locked lips in order to entice followers to check out their explicit content.

To no one's surprise, the video was absolutely panned and prompted the brothers to receive be absolutely slaughtered online.
Despite the backlash, Flyysoulja and Kodiyakredd would later double down on their controversial stunt and claim that it wasn't weird for them to kiss because they were twins.
"We're twin brothers, we came out of the womb together, we grew up together. It's not really disgusting if it's twins," Kodiyakredd explained, after being grilled about their antics on an episode of Adam22's podcast.
The host also questioned if either twin had been 'disgusted' by the idea, adding that he would be uncomfortable kissing a friend, to which Kodiyakredd responded: "Your friend, you don't really know him like that.
"We kind of just made out or whatever, we kissed and then we just like look the other way for a few minutes and couldn't like, look at each other, but it wasn't that big of a deal – just a kiss," the brothers added.

The brothers have since claimed they were able to make millions off the back of the controversial kiss, with Kodiyakredd claiming they were paid $14 million (£10 million) for the kiss.
"You think I’ma do that for free?" he said while speaking at Adin Ross’s upcoming Brand Risk 006 boxing event (via The Tab).
Exactly who is paying that much to watch twin brothers kiss anyone's guess, but let this serve as a warning about what happens when you decide to chase fame at any cost.
