Jake Paul accepts offer to fight Nate Diaz in an MMA match

Jake Paul accepts offer to fight Nate Diaz in an MMA match

The YouTuber-turned-fighter is refusing to do a boxing rematch with the MMA star.

Jake Paul has accepted an offer to fight Nate Diaz in an MMA match.

The YouTuber has been making a name for himself in the sporting world ever since he started boxing.

The 26-year-old has seven wins out of eight fights and he recently squared up against Diaz in the ring.

The two went toe-to-toe at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas back in August and Paul was crowned the victor.

He won via unanimous decision and the judges scored the fight 98–91, 98–91 and 97–92 in favour of Jake.

Earlier this month, it was revealed he would be heading back to the ring in mid-December to take on an unknown opponent.

But Jake is refusing to fight Nate in boxing.

Paul's Most Valuable Promotions has tweeted: "For the record: Jake Paul will not be boxing Nate Diaz again.

"Nate Diaz and Jake Paul have received an offer from @PFLMMA to rematch in MMA in the SmartCage.

"Jake Paul has accepted the offer."

So now we just have to wait for Diaz to accept the same offer and then it's game on.

The YouTuber-turned-fighter had already flagged his intentions to fight Diaz in MMA and even offered him $10 million for the opportunity.

"We're at the drawing board right now. Nate Diaz ducked the $10 million offer, so he's not the badass that everyone said he was," Paul said to TMZ.

"I wanted to fight him in MMA and do something that no boxer has really ever done, which is, in the prime of their career, go over to MMA.

"MMA fighters have gone over to boxing, but I want to go over to MMA and Nate Diaz ducked the offer."

Diaz initially rejected the offer and said: "Here's your MMA fight b***h your easy [as f**k] we can box or fight MMA at ⁦[Real Fight Inc.] no problem f**k PFL and f**k [you] p***y."

All eyes will be on Diaz to see whether the opportunity at fighting Paul in the sport that made him a household name.

That would certainly be a sight to be seen.
