Jamie Foxx's eldest daughter has shared a health update on her dad more than a year on from his medical emergency.
Foxx, 56, still hasn't revealed any details behind his hospitalisation in April 2023, which caused him to take a step back from the public eye for a number of months.
The Oscar winner had the health scare come around the same time he was filming the upcoming action-comedy, Back in Action, which will also mark Cameron Diaz's comeback from retirement.
The Django Unchained actor's daughter, Corinne, posted on Instagram last year: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.
“The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family."
In March this year, Foxx spoke at the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Special Achievement Awards lunch while accepting the Producers Award.

“Everybody wants to know what happened, and I’m going to tell you what happened,” he told the audience.
Foxx continued: "But I’ve gotta do it in my way, I’m gonna do it in a funny way.
"We’re gonna be on the stage. We’re gonna get back to the standup sort of roots."

But now Corinne has provided a brand new update, revealing to ET that her father is 'so great' and 'amazing', over a year after his medical scare.
She also said that she felt 'so grateful' that she could work with her dad again on musical game show Beat Shazam, with Foxx presenting it alongside October Gonzalez.
Corinne said that because of this, she has been allowed to 'spend so much time with him', before revealing that he has picked up a new sport during his recovery period.
"He's playing a lot of pickleball," she continued.

“That man and pickleball, it’s like he’s playing twice a day every day.”
The actor has returned to the public eye over the past couple of months, though being made to address his health was seemingly pushed by a number of conspiracy theories that began flying around.
Following his hospitalisation, Foxx made his first public appearance in December 2023 at the Critics Choice Association's Celebration of Cinema & Television: Honoring Black, Latino and AAPI Achievements event.

Addressing the audience when accepting the Vanguard Award, he said: "I've been through some things.
"It's crazy; I couldn't do that six months ago. I couldn't actually walk.
"It feels good to be here. I cherish every single minute now. It's different."
Foxx added: "I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy because it's tough when it's almost over. ... I saw the tunnel. I didn't see the light. It was hot in that tunnel, too; I don't know where I was going."
