Jeremy Clarkson has banned a fourth person from his pub and it's a very familiar face

Jeremy Clarkson has banned a fourth person from his pub and it's a very familiar face

The barred list is growing at The Farmer's Dog pub

Jeremy Clarkson has barred yet another person from his Oxfordshire pub and it's someone he's very familiar with.

Earlier this year, Clarkson took over the watering hole, situated around 20 minutes away from his Diddly Squat Farm in the heart of England's Cotswolds.

Renaming the premises The Farmer's Dog, Clarkson - who recently had a serious health scare - opened the £1 million pub at the end of August, with punters queuing out of the door when it opened in time for the bank holiday weekend.

The pub is expected to be one of the main focuses in the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm, which will air in spring 2025 over on Amazon Prime Video.

When Clarkson opened the venue, the former Top Gear man revealed that two people had been banned from setting foot inside, with them both rather big names in the UK.

Pinning up a list with their names on it inside the pub, the two names of 'Keir Starmer' and 'James May' could be seen scrawled on the piece of paper. Sorry lads.

Speaking about barring Starmer in an interview with Cathy Newman on Times Radio, he said: "He’s banned. Actually, he’s the first person to be banned. He’s actually on a board in the hall, he’s banned."

We're not sure the prime minister will be unbanned any time soon either, following a major decision on farms in the recent UK Budget, set out by Rachel Reeves.

A third person made the banned list soon after, with a 'Maddy Hornby' being added below Starmer and May. In a video posted to social media, the man behind many of the pub's Instagram posts - Jonathan Hornby - asks what he's up to, with Clarkson bluntly replying: "I'm banning your daughter because she moaned after not being able to have Tabasco in her Bloody Mary. So she's banned."

As a crowd laughs behind the camera, Hornby ends the clip saying: "Keir Starmer, James May, Maddy Hornby. You're all banned."

The reason for no Tabasco being available in the pub is because Clarkson is trying to create a business which only supplies produce that has been made in Great Britain.

Now, three has become four, with none other than former Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter Richard Hammond revealing he is banned alongside James May.

He made the revelation in a new video for the DriveTribe YouTube channel.

The video shows Hammond visiting May's own pub that he runs for the first time, with Hammond asking May: "My stated intention when you said you bought a pub get myself banned, what do I have to do?"

Responding, May explains: "A pub is a place for discussion, difference of opinion, so we're not going to bar you for holding a radical view.

"However if you damage any of the artworks or break the windows, or insult any of my delightful young staff, then [my colleague] Jamie will assist you in leaving through the window."

Replying, Hammond said: "I'll go for a ban. Jeremy's told me I'm already banned from his pub."

May wryly replied: "He told me that but I said to somebody that's like being banned from the golf club. I've been banned from somewhere where I wasn't going to go anyway so what does it mean?"
