British comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont have announced that they will be divorcing after nine years.
The couple tied the knot in April 2015, with their only child, a daughter, being born just a year later.
Richardson and Beaumont released a joint statement, telling the PA news agency: "After nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.

"As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being. We will be making no further comment."
The pair are best known for starring in their own TV mockumentary series called Meet the Richardsons, which airs on Dave's UKTV.
The series has been on the air since 2020, with the fifth series beginning earlier this week on 8 April, where the two play 'exaggerated versions' of themselves.

It has been well received by audiences, with Beaumont being nominated for a BAFTA TV award in the female performance in a comedy programme category back in 2023.
The couple have since become household names on British television, launching a Channel 4 programme called Jon and Lucy's Odd Couples, where celebrity couples were invited on to examine their relationships.
This was done through a number of challenges that tested relationship skills, with the two hosts putting their relationship 'differences aside to judge everyone else's'.
