Kanye West speaks out on rumour he was ‘kicked out of Grammys’ following Bianca Censori's X-rated outfit

Kanye West speaks out on rumour he was ‘kicked out of Grammys’ following Bianca Censori's X-rated outfit

Kanye is now embroiled in a back-and-forth on social media after he addressed the Grammys rumours

Kanye West has addressed claims that he was kicked out of the Grammys after his wife's X-rated stunt on the red carpet.

The rapper, 47, and his spouse Bianca Censori, 30, have dominated the headlines since the awards show on Sunday (2 February).

West's wife left people stunned after dropping her coat to reveal that she was wearing an extremely sheer mini-dress, which is rumoured to have been inspired by his music.

Fans then quickly began analysing the 'five-word comment' the 'Flashing Lights' hitmaker reportedly made to Censori after she bared it all, before rumours about their exit began to emerge.

Conflicting reports started to surface which suggested the pair had been strong-armed out of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles after their antics on the red carpet.

West - who was nominated for Best Rap Song at this year's Grammys for his track 'Carnival' - has now hit back at the rumours he was not invited to the awards show.

Taking aim at US broadcaster Don Lemon, 58, the father-of-four shared a scathing Instagram post last night (3 February).

Alongside an image of Lemon grinning, West wrote: "This the goofball that started the rumour that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this."

The post has since been deleted, which isn't exactly unusual for West.

But the drama about the Grammys gossip still continued to unfold on social media, as Lemon shared a response to West.

In a video shared to Instagram, the TV star said: "First of all, Kanye, Ye - whatever your name is - I did not start a rumour about you being kicked out of the Grammys, I actually corrected it.

"I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.

"So, first of all, get your sh*t straight. And you, of all people, calling me a c**n? That 'Make America Great Again' hat must be too tight on your head."

West memorably donned one of Donald Trump's 'MAGA' hats during an appearance on Saturday Night Live in September 2018.

He then wore it again the following month while visiting the president at the White House during his first term.

Earlier on Sunday evening, Lemon had approached West and Censori on the red carpet at the Grammys in the hopes of having a quick chat, but the pair didn't seem keen.

The rapper instead responded: "Give me a second, I'm focused," before walking into the venue with his wife.

In another video shared to his Instagram page on Sunday, Lemon explained that he had spoke to one of West's representatives about the rumours surrounding his exit.

In the clip, he says: "As we were leaving the Grammys, we saw a spokesperson for Kanye and that spokesperson said he was indeed invited, that's a fact.

"And that he was not kicked out. That is what they're saying on Kanye's side. So, this is Don Lemon, reporting the tea, from the Grammys studio."

Grammys 2025 most shocking fashion moments

Jaden Smith

Along with his classic black tuxedo, Jaden Smith opted for an unusual headpiece which included a castle with a tiny cut-out hole for his face.

Some fans think he was referencing Willem Dafoe who was famously pictured wearing a similar headpiece during a GQ Italy shoot centred on the notion 'Home Is Where Your Head Is'.

Jennifer Lopez

The singer left fans divided over her outfit as she rocked up donning a black cropped turtleneck top alongside a structured sheer skirt by Stéphane Rolland.

While some fans loved the out-there look, others brutally said it looked as though she'd forgotten to pull her dress up all the way. Yikes.

Julia Fox

The Uncut Gems actress strutted her stuff on the red carpet sporting an all-black ensemble including an oversized leather jacket along with statement yellow latex gloves.

Safe to say some fans were baffled by the hand gear, as one joked they'd been 'looking for' their cleaning gloves.

Markos D1

The LA recording artist was joined by a special guest on the Grammys red carpet... a glittery, bejewelled snake.

Alongside his slithery friend, he opted for a simple satin black suit.

Shawn Everett

Looks like Julia Fox wasn't the only one going for a statement glove...

Canadian music producer Everett went all out sporty on the carpet, pairing a red Adidas zip-up dress with eye-popping red latex gloves and tights.
