Kourtney Kardashian admits she and Travis Barker keep a vial of each other’s blood

Kourtney Kardashian has shown off a vial of her own blood she's gifting to Travis Barker on the latest series of The Kardashians and we have to ask... what is it with celebs and blood?

Everyone remembers Angelina Jolie and her ex-hubby, Billy Bob Thornton, who were the OGs for first wearing vials filled with each other’s blood around their necks.

Jolie thought it was a 'sweet gesture' at the time.

“It was like a flower press. It was like a slight cut on your finger, and you pressed your fingerprint in," she told Animated Things.

"It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic! I still love him dearly and think the world of him, and I am proud to have been his wife for a time.”

Who can forget Megan Fox, who went one step further and admitted that she and Machine Gun Kelly 'consume each other's blood on occasion'.

“I guess 'drank each other's blood' might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we're like Game of Thrones, drinking each other's blood,” she told Glamour UK at the time.

“It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

Now, it seems Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are hopping on the blood trend, admitting she and her husband keep a vial of each other’s blood.

The Kardashians is back for season five and in the latest instalment Kourtney is at home while on bed rest as Khloé comes over to visit.

"I’m pretty much on bed rest. The third trimester, I just haven’t been able to travel, but I’ve been having lots of visitors," Kourtney said.

The reality TV star went on to reveal she’s taken up scrapbooking since being with Travis.

“I’m not really a scrapbooker, I’ve never done this before until doing it for this gift for my husband," she said.

“Taking the time to really create something that’s telling a story, I think is really special.”

That's when Kourtney asks her sister: “Did you see my blood vial in there?” as she rifles through the crafts.

She explained the vial was 'just to, like, have each other’s [blood]'.

“To wanna show off your blood vials is also, like, ‘Alright, if that’s what you’re into!’" Khloe said.

“But it’s very Billy Bob Thornton of them...

“In every minute of the day, do I wanna be harnessing a tube of blood? Not for me.

“But that’s what makes the world go round. We’re all different.”
