Nikki Glaser isn’t one to shy away from honesty, delivering iconic lines and jokes with a certain candid charm.
And recently, she opened up about a fetish she has about her boyfriend sleeping with other women.
Her on-and-off partner of 13 years, Chris Convy, therefore, gets the ‘hot husband’ title as while the comedian doesn’t sleep with other people, he gets to hook up with women outside of their relationship.
But she admits she wasn’t necessarily prepared for the reaction to her discussing this on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Glaser explained it was ‘so much fun’ to chat openly about sex with host Alex Cooper as she felt like the pair were ‘best friends’ by the end of it.
She admitted during the On with Kara Swisher podcast: “I wasn't even thinking about censoring myself in any way, knowing that this podcast makes headlines.”

Speaking about what is essentially hot-husbanding, she had said to Cooper: “In a relationship, I don't really care if my boyfriend were to hook up. But that is not a two-way street.
“I'm not someone who likes to hook up when I'm in a relationship. I don't really care about that. But I don't care if someone else were to. In fact, I kind of like it.”
But Glaser wasn’t quite ready for the reaction to her saying this as she told Swisher she had woken up to headlines that saysshe ‘likes for her boyfriend to sleep with other women’.
“It was like five different headlines showing up in my feed,” the 41-year-old explained. “And I don’t even follow myself, I don’t look for news about myself – I avoid it at all costs.
“It was just really embarrassing.”
Glaser said it had just been ‘one little thing’ she’d mentioned in conversation and then ‘everyone’ she knew had seen it.

“That day I went in to like do some voice over work and even the people in the Zoom on the voiceover were like ‘wow, a lot of headlines about you today’,” the comedian recalled.
“I’m like, ‘that is so humiliating’.”
And while the comments on Call Her Daddy did go viral, it wasn’t exactly the first time Glaser has made remarks like this.
She previously spoke on Gwyneth Paltrow’s The Goop Podcast about how she was ‘confident’ in being a ‘pretty good person to date’.
“When it comes to my relationship, I just don’t have jealousy over him getting close to other women,” Glaser said.
Why are some couples into ‘hot husbanding’?

There are many reasons why a person may be into hot husbanding or 'hot wifing', including erotic empowerment, breaking taboos and role-play scenarios.
Meanwhile, some couples report feeling a sense of satisfaction from the idea that their partner is desirable to others, as well as a deepening of trust and intimacy in the relationship.
A study from the intimacy platform Wifey found that 71 percent of 1,000 surveyed couples reported feeling a 'stronger emotional bond with their partner' after inviting a third person into their bed.
Speaking about why women may enjoy it, Emily Thompson, relationship expert at PositivesDating, told the Toronto Sun: “Emotionally, it may increase feelings of security and sexual assurance - being aware that your partner is sought after by others but still returns to you.
“For some, it can shatter routine, deepen erotic intimacy, or test boundaries that contrast with the social norms of exclusivity in committed relationships.”
She added: “In the past, men have been accorded more sexual freedom and autonomy, with women learning to be the ‘gatekeepers’ of sex.
“Hothusbanding defies such a trend by putting the woman - whether she is spectator or conductor - in the role of one who actively encourages or delights in her partner’s enjoyment with others.”
