The singer was never convicted and maintained his innocence until his death in 2009.
Now, the new follow-up documentary again follows Jackson's former child companions Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who have filed lawsuits in relation to long-term abuse.
Their case against Jackson's estate is set to go to court in November 2026.

The first set of allegations started when 13-year-old Jordan Chandler accused Jackson of molestation in 1993.
He settled the civil case in 1994 for $23 million (£17.7 million), and due to a lack of evidence, no criminal charges were filed.
In a 2005 trial, 13-year-old cancer survivor Gavin Arvizo accused Jackson of molestation.
But Jackson was acquitted on all 14 charges after the defence argued that the Arvizo family had a history of fraud.

Former personal maid Adrian McManus used to work at Neverland, and she has claimed that 'investigators missed a great deal of information' during the 1993 case.
She alleged to The Sun: "I was told that the investigators missed a great deal of information that was kept in a security office.
"There were hard drives and a lot of files that were missed."
The Neverland tapes 'could change everything
The 62-year-old - who worked at the ranch between 1990 and 1994 - added: "I had an idea they were trying to protect him. They didn’t want any logs of children’s names or the times they were there coming out.

"It could change everything. So I really hope that the truth comes out and those boys can heal completely."
Robson and Safechuck's allegations

Robson and Safechuck filed lawsuits in 2013 and 2014, but their cases were dismissed due to the statute of limitations.

However, their allegations of abuse were shown in the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland.
"It's fricking terrifying," Robson said in Leaving Neverland 2.
"The reaction of the whole world, angry Michael fans and media, a certain amount of them can be extremely vicious.
"The scope of what happened was like the thing I was most afraid of.
"Your life would be over if people knew he would want me to suck on his nipples and then he would finish himself.
"I was sleeping and I woke up and Michael said that he had performed oral sex on me while I was sleeping, and I was like, 'Oh, okay.' "
Jackson’s estate deny the allegations
"We remain fully confident that Michael is innocent of these allegations, which are contrary to all credible evidence and independent corroboration, and which were only first made years after Michael’s death," Jonathan Steinsapir, attorney for the estate of Michael Jackson, said in April 2023.
"We trust that the truth will ultimately prevail with Michael’s vindication yet again. Michael Jackson himself said, ‘Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.' "
LADbible Group has contacted the estate of Michael Jackson for comment.
