Louis Theroux is asking for people’s opinions as he debuted a new look to fans on Instagram.
The legend decided to make a bold move to combat the effects of alopecia.
At the beginning of this year, Theroux first opened up about ‘probably’ experiencing hair loss with his beard growing in patches and also losing parts of his eyebrows.

Theroux shared the iconic shaving clip to Instagram along with three selfies showing off his new look.
He wrote in the caption: “Can you tell what’s different? I’ve shaved off my eyebrows! I’m also thinking about getting micro blading soon.

“In the meanwhile I figure no eyebrows is better than patchy eyebrows. Do you agree?”
The 53-year-old previously revealed he was losing hair from his head as well as his beard and brows so was taking ‘vitamin D, iron, and something called Biotin’ in attempt to combat it.
Fans have supported the legendary documentary maker since he opened up about his hair loss and many are loving this new shaved brow look.
Bear Grylls even commented: “We are much more than just our silly eyebrows... you’re a true champ.”

Many fans echoed: “You’re a wonderful human with or without eyebrows.”
Plenty say he’s ‘looking good’ and praised: “You’re the man Louis! I’ve had alopecia for a few years and never been able to own it as well as you have.”
Another put: “I don’t think you need micro blading to be honest. Looks really normal. Except for when you make that weird face. Keep them, looks good! Micro bladed eyebrows would be too harsh methinks.”

Others pointed out that he looks ‘fine without’ the brows, even in the scary-face selfie.
And one even begged: “Please experiment with drawing on different eyebrow expressions in the meantime! May as well have fun with it hey.”
Some fans also recommend he finds out the reason for his alopecia ‘and try treat it before microblading’.

The NHS explain that ‘most hair loss does not need treatment’ and advises that hair loss ‘caused by a medical condition usually stops or grows back once you’ve recovered’.
Having previously lost parts of his brows, he wrote in the past: “I’d like to know how I’m supposed to continue a career based largely on raising and lowering different eyebrows WITHOUT ANY EYEBROWS!! #alopecia.
“I’m seriously thinking of getting them tattooed back on but it feels like a big step! Thoughts?”
