Nicholas Hoult has opened up about keeping one of his co-star’s belongings- his prosthetic penis.
Surely, everyone takes a souvenir from the set, but a penis? That’s a bit much.
Some might nap a costume or two, jewellery, maybe some décor… and so on. However, Hoult apparently wanted to be reminded of his co-star, and so he kept hold of the prosthetic member.

The actor, who is probably best known for playing Tony in Skins, revealed to ELLE magazine that he was bestowed the penis as a gift from his new movie’s director.
The 35-year-old stars in the horror flick Nosferatu, alongside Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp.
He shared that he was given Skarsgard’s penis (not his real one, mind you) by Robery Eggers, and now it’s ‘framed’ at his home.

Apparently, he was gifted it after a scene led him to feel Skarsgård's Count Orlok's prosthetic penis against his leg. Can anyone timestamp that scene? I’m asking for a friend.
During the video interview with Depp, Hoult explained: "I have Count Orlok's prosthetic penis framed at home."
He continued: "There's a scene where Bill Skasrgard is slurping my blood, and Robert Eggers asked afterward, 'How was that for you? ' And I said, 'I could feel his prosthetic penis on my leg'. And then, as a wrap gift, Rob got it framed, and he sent it to my house."
But that wasn’t the entire ordeal he had to go through with the penis.

Hoult went on to tell a story about how the frame broke when it arrived, and he had to go to a shop to get it fixed.
He said that the shop employee ‘didn't even blink the first time’. Maybe it wasn’t his first run in with a fake willy? Anyway, he then went on to say that when he returned to pick it up, the assistant had a question for him.
Hoult explained the person asked, 'Is this some kind of collector's piece?' to which he replied: “Hm, you could say that."
The film, which was released this year, tells the tale of Ellen (Depp) who prays for a lover to come into her life. However, she is struck by a vision which gives her a seizure.

Years later, Ellen lives with her husband, Thomas Hutter (Hoult) when the hubby accepts a job to visit the eccentric Count Orlok (Skarsgård). However, Orlok is a vampire, and it all gets a little twisted from there.
Hoult also shared how the director got him to lose weight to become a haunted character.
He said to The Hollywood Reporter: "Rob asked me to lose some weight for the movie. So I was about 20 pounds lighter than I am normally, and that weight loss was combined with the makeup team's brilliant job."

"Thomas goes through a lot in this movie, and so they added that harrowing look with hollowed-out cheekbones. That was some great makeup in terms of making Thomas look like he'd been to hell and back."
