A woman who was allegedly stabbed 20 times by How I Met Your Mother star Nick Pasqual has shown her scars in a public appearance.
Pasqual, 34, who appeared in the show in 2011 and Rebel Moon in 2023, was arrested in May and charged with the alleged attempted murder of his estranged girlfriend Allie Shehorn.
The LA Country District Attorney's Office said that Pasqual had allegedly broke into the victim’s Sunlun home in Los Angeles and 'stabbed the victim multiple times' on 23 May.

The 35-year-old makeup and special effects artist had recently filed a restraining order against Pasqual, the press release further states.
Though the actor was said to have fled from the scene before he was identified and was later detained at a US Border Patrol check point in Texas.
His charges include one count of attempted murder; one count of first-degree residential burglary with person present; and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent.

After he was extradited to California, he has pleaded not guilty to the charges, as per CBS News.
And last week, Shehorn was pictured with scarring marks on her arms and neck as she wore a black dress at the 'A Halloween Feast' premiere on 8 August.
Meanwhile, when Pasqual appeared in court in LA on Monday (12 August), Shehorn was there to attend the hearing - and will attend every other hearing to show that 'he [Pasqual] can't get away with it'.

She told the Daily Mail: "I just hope that there's justice served. People should know that this shouldn't happen and he can't get away with it.
"I'll be at every court hearing, even if I don't have to be, just to show him that I'm still here.
"Every day is different and it's a struggle, and just dealing with the permanent damage is really hard. I can't go back completely to how I was."
“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” District Attorney Gascón said in the press release.

A GoFundMe has since been set up to help pay for Allie's hospital bills after the alleged attack.
Emily MacDonald, one of the organisers, wrote: "Allie is a remarkable person, full of warmth, kindness, and love.
"No one deserves to endure such a traumatic experience, especially someone as compassionate and caring as Allie.
"The road to recovery will be long and arduous, but with your support, we can help ease her burden and provide the financial assistance she desperately needs."
If Pasqual is convicted of all charges, the maximum sentence is life in state prison, CBS News reports.
