Rebel Wilson has made a number of claims about The Brothers Grimsby co-star Sacha Baron Cohen after revealing that he was the 'a**hole' she had dedicated a chapter of her upcoming book to.
Wilson told social media followers that a chapter of her upcoming memoir Rebel Rising would feature a chapter where she called out one of her former co-stars, though initially didn't name who the person was.
She had said on Instagram earlier this month: "When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, yeah, ‘I have a no a**hole policy, means like, yeah, I don’t work with a**holes.’

"I was like, ‘Oh yeah. I mean, that sounds sensible or logical.
"But then it really sunk in because I worked with a massive a**hole and yeah, now I definitely have a no a**holes policy."
The actor later claimed that this person she was talking about was attempting to hinder her book's release, saying: "He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book. But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth."

This turned a number of her fans into detectives who were trying to figure out who this person was, before Wilson explicitly named Sacha Baron Cohen as the man she was talking about.
"I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyer or PR crisis managers," Wilson wrote on her Instagram stories on Monday (25 March).
"The ‘a**hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen."
A spokesperson for Baron Cohen told The Hollywood Reporter: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."

Now People has published excerpts from Rebel Rising in which she alleges that he repeatedly asked her to do nude scenes.
In the excerpt, Wilson wrote: "SBC summons me via a production assistant saying that I’m needed to film an additional scene. ‘Okay, well, we’re gonna film this extra scene,’ SBC says.
"Then he pulls his pants down ... SBC says very matter-of-factly: ‘Okay, now I want you to stick your finger up my a**.’ And I’m like, ‘What?? ... No!!’ ...”

"I was now scared. I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the a** and improvised a few lines as the character."
People also reports that Baron Cohen's representatives provided them with nine anonymous statements from people who say they were involved with the film, five of which say they witnessed the scene described above and all of which dispute Wilson's account of events.
One producer said: "As per the script, which Rebel had read and approved in advance, her character was attempting to put a finger in Sacha’s character’s butt. At no point did Sacha actually ask her to put a finger in his butt."
For Wilson's part, People writes that her sister Liberty and a friend told them the Pitch Perfect star spoke to them shortly after filming the scene and recounted her version of events, which matches the claims now published.
