It's official: Ali G will soon be back in the house.
Sacha Baron Cohen has revealed the legendary leader of the 'Da West Staines Massiv' is being revived.
The actor and comedian is reportedly doing a new stand-up routine and he couldn't do it without a little help from the bloke who grew up 'in da heart of da Staines ghetto'.

Deadline and Variety have confirmed Cohen is dusting off the fake chains and yellow sunglasses.
It hasn't been revealed how Ali G will be incorporated into the stand up show, however his team has shut down any speculation that the character will be on the big screen.
Cohen is keeping his cards close to his chest and a source has told Variety: "As a SAG and WGA member he is supporting the ongoing strike alongside his fellow writers and actors."

Actors and writers are striking all across the United States at the moment to demand better pay conditions in the age of streaming.
One of the requirements of the strike is that anyone participating or supporting has been encouraged not to talk about current, past or future projects.
It's hoped that this will create an even bigger impact on the entertainment industry and hamper efforts to get more money from TV shows or movies.
Sacha Baron Cohen resurrected Ali G back in 2021 for a surprise gig in Sydney, Australia.

Ali G came onto the stage at The Comedy Store and people were genuinely blown away.
Cohen said at the time to British GQ: “I just wanted to get on stage and muck around and see what Ali G would be like with a crowd. It was really good fun.”
Several months later, he said that he would like to do it more often.

He told the outlet: "Yes, I think I would. The reason I became a comedian was that I loved people laughing at my jokes.
"To actually hear laughter is a rare thing for me. When I do the movies, I have to wait three months to hear an audience laugh."
Sacha started appearing as Ali G on shows throughout the late '90s before becoming a household name.
He then got his own series called The Ali G Show where he interviewed celebrities, politicians, and other public figures who often didn't know that Ali G was a fictional character.

He decided to retire the character in 2007 because he was becoming too recognisable and he wouldn't be able to get away with the pranks anymore.
