Chris Evans has revealed to fans that he’s finally upgraded his iPhone from yesteryear in a hilarious tribute online.
The Captain America star took his social media to pen a rib-tickling post about replacing his iPhone 6, which was first released in 2014, with a much newer iPhone 13.
Writing alongside a photo of his old phone and new one, Evans said: "RIP iPhone 6s. We had a good run. I’ll miss your home button.

"I won’t miss the nightly battle of trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy pictures. Or your sudden drops from 100% battery, to 15%, to completely dead all within minutes.
"It was a wild ride. Rest easy, pal. #tilthewheelsfalloff”.
Understandably, the internet went wild over his tech admission, with many of his famous friends commenting in their droves about his upgrade while fans joked he had been frozen in ice like his Marvel character had been for 70 years.

Pal Octavia Spencer, who has starred alongside Evans in Gifted and Snowpiercer, commented: "OMG! I just gave up my home button last week.
"Transitioning to the 13 has been easier than I thought. So…. #IFeelYouBuddy."
While actress Kate Beckinsale penned: "Not the grainy pictures."
A stunned Yvette Nicole Brown, who starred in Avengers: Endgame with Evans, wrote, "Please tell me you didn't still have the 6?! HOW did that happen to you?!"
Actress Lizze Broadway said, "Why does this bring me so much joy."

Meanwhile a fan penned: "Took the Captain America role a little too serious with the ancient phone."
"It’s the end of an era. You did great, sweetie,” another added. "How are you still on an iPhone 6s?!?!?"
A fourth commented: "Rip Chris Evans’s IPhone 6s, you will always be iconic".
It's not the only time this month that the Lightyear actor sent fans into a frenzy. Earlier this month, Evans' let slip his real Boston accent during a recent red carpet interview – and Twitter users were not ready for it.

In the clip, the Hollywood star was speaking to a reporter from Access Hollywood, and could be heard asking them: "What do you prefer – moustache or no moustache? Be honest."
Responding to the clip one Twitter user said: "Chris Evans asking ‘moustache or no moustache’ in his Boston accent should be illegal and grounds for arrest."
Another wrote: "Chris Evans putting that Boston accent into overdrive now that he's done with Marvel."

Someone else joked: "Chris Evans is a much better actor than I previously thought if he's been hiding this thick a** Boston accent the whole time."
While a fourth said: "I can’t stop thinking about Chris Evans’ Boston accent and it’s sending me into a spiral."
