Fans are eagerly awaiting Chris Hemsworth’s upcoming role as Hulk Hogan in the long-awaited Netflix biopic.
Having been announced in 2020, little is currently known about the upcoming film. However, director of Joker Todd Phillips will be taking the reins, so it's sure to be a hit with viewers.
The movie will centre around Hogan’s rise to fame in the 1980s, with Hemsworth set to embody the famous wrestler’s persona right down to his moustache.

Fans have been sharing their excitement over on Twitter, with one writing: “Why is Chris Hemsworth playing Hulk Hogan in a biopic? He clearly looks the part of Kevin Nash in the new Thor.”
Another fan said: “Can’t stop thinking about Chris Hemsworth as f***ing Hulk Hogan.”
“Every day I wonder what's going on with that Chris Hemsworth Hulk Hogan movie,” pondered a third.
John Pollono, writer of the Hulk Hogan biopic, recently spoke to Screen Rant about the upcoming film.

He said: "Look man, I don't know what I'm allowed to say about that. They send people that script and they have to read it in two hours, it's like top secret, so I'm not gonna be the guy who gets fired on it.
“But I'll tell you, I'm really proud of the work, it's great.”
Gushing over Hemsworth’s acting skills, he continued: “I love writing for great actors, I think Chris Hemsworth, like these guys, he's awesome. You can make him funny and tragic and all that stuff.
“I'm really excited to see the movie and hopefully -- I don't know how COVID-friendly that movie would be to shoot ‘cause they got like 30,000 people in the crowds in some of these scenes, so I hope eventually they get to make it.”

“I can't wait to see it someday,” he finished.
Previously, Hemsworth lifted the lid on his physical transformation for the role.
He told Total Film: "This movie is going to be a really fun project. As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical.

"I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor."
And it's not just the physical transformation, the Aussie star added: "There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude.
"I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I'm really looking forward to doing."
