What is Chris Ramsey’s Net Worth?
According to a number of online sources, Chris Ramsey has an estimated net worth of £1 Million, as of 2022. However, estimates from Ramsey’s days on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 place the value more towards the £5 Million mark.
Starting his career in 2007, Ramsey’s comedy soon took off as his first solo show Aggrophobic was presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010. His second show, Offermation, presented the following year, was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award, and was what brought Ramsey to the attention of producers at BBC Radio 4, where the show was later broadcasted.
His move to TV began with him starring in BBC 2’s sitcom Hebburn in 2012, set in Ramsey’s home town of South Shields. He has since appeared on Live at the Apollo, I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp, and Virtually Famous whilst bringing The Chris Ramsey Show to Comedy Central. In 2019, Ramsey made it to the semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing, taking a respectable fourth place.

That same year, Ramsey started a weekly podcast Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed alongside his wife Rosie Ramsey, where the pair discuss ‘life, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting, growing up, and everything in between’. It has since become the most listened to podcast in the UK, with over 100 million downloads as of April 2022. The pair have recently been brought to the screens as The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show aired on BBC 2 in May 2022.
In March 2021, Ramsey’s wife Rosie took to her Instagram to announce the couple had purchased a house in Northumberland valued at £1.5 Million. A short distance from their previous home in South Shields, the new home boasts 6 bedrooms and a library, where they now live with their two sons Robin (6) and Rafe (1).
