Creed III is finally here, after an almost four year wait we can safely say that this will come to the delight of both nostalgic Rocky fans and a younger audience who have grown up with the Creed series since its launch in 2015.
The reprisal follows the story of Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed, the son of the fan favourite Apollo Creed, Rocky’s greatest rival and friend in the original instalments . The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree as Creed recounts Donnie’s journey to becoming a skilled boxer like his father.

Nevertheless, fans have no need to despair as the cast for Creed III remains relatively similar to its predecessors, as Michael B. Jordan will not only reclaiming his role as the protagonist, Adonis, but has also taken on the role of director, making Creed III his debut shot at directing.
Jordan is very likely to be accompanied by Tessa Thompson who once again reprises her role of Donnie’s wife, Bianca. Wood Harris will once again play ‘Little Duke’, and Phylicia Rashad will return as Donnie’s mother, Mary Ann. Perhaps the most striking actor to be returning to the Creed set is Florian Munteanu who is set to come back as Viktor Drago.
There are also new faces set to appear in the ‘threequel’ as esteemed actor Johnathan Majors is set to take on the role as Creed’s new adversary.
Creed III Plot
A trailer is yet to be released for Creed III meaning sussing out the plot requires a bit of guesswork.

Nonetheless, fans have still been coming up with their own theories. The return of Viktor Drago has caused whispers about a rematch between Donnie, and the Rocky IV villain’s son. However, the main theory being tossed around Creed fans concerns the arrival of the son of one other Rocky adversary, Clubber Lang, who was portrayed by the infamous Mr. T. This would of course follow nicely on from the fight with Viktor Drago. However, these are just predictions and fans may well be surprised at the direction Michael. B Jordan takes the film in.
