A dog has been dubbed as ‘the goodest boy’ for taking his insulin injections in an adorable TikTok video.
Trigger warning: needles and injections.
His owner, @smurfnoette on the site, uploaded the viral video in which she asks her followers: “Y’all wanna watch my big boy take his insulin?”

She then asks the handsome Doberman: “Are you ready for your insulin?” to which he appears to do a big gulp as he looks up at his human holding the needle.
“We gotta make it sound exciting,” she tells her followers.
In the next part of the video, the dog is seen sitting by his owner’s feet as she administers the injection into the skin above his shoulder while she says to the dog: “come on, come on, come on”.
She then pets the dog and kisses his head as she says: “Good boy, good boy”.

“Bossy, you want some?” the woman asks her other dog, which makes the first Doberman look up at her again.
“Sir, ain’t no more, ain’t no more!”, she jokes.

In a further video uploaded to the site, his human explained how he was diagnosed with diabetes.
“So, we learned about two years ago, it was like top of 2020, you know when the world was dying and falling apart? So this cute little face,” she said, holding up her Doberman’s snout, kept p***ing all over my floor.
“He has not peed in my house in years, he drank all the water, maybe two-three gallons of water daily, and so I called my dad and my dad’s like ‘Oh, hey, he’s probably diabetic’.”

She continued: “And the thing about Black dads, they know everything about everything but nothing that is actually very helpful to you to make you any type of money.
“So my dad is like ‘he has diabetes go get him checked out’.”
She then explained how the vet found him in a “dangerous” state.
“So we take him to the vet, the vet found his sugar levels were at 600, almost 700, people in the comments will probably tell you if that’s good or bad cause I don’t know.
“We put him on his diet, he drops so much f***ing weight. Brady was sitting at 110 lbs, we put him on a diet, put him on insulin and in six weeks he dropped to 85 lbs.”
The dog’s new diet and insulin injections have given him “a lot more energy” and meant he wasn’t inappropriately toileting anymore, the woman explained.
