Now that Ryan Reynolds has revealed Hugh Jackman will be reprising his role as Wolverine for Deadpool 3, people are unearthing a tweet the Canadian actor posted years ago.
Reynolds told the world where he wanted the threequel to go and it sounds nothing short of brilliant.
He said it would be a road trip film, where Deadpool and Wolverine would see the sights and laugh along to some epic bangers in the car.
However, this idea came before Disney took over the rights to Deadpool, meaning this brilliant storyline might have been thrown into the rubbish bin.

But who knows? We'll have to wait and see what happens when the movie drops in cinemas in September 2024.
Reynolds revealed the release date, as well as Jackman's involvement in the third instalment, in a very cheeky video on social media.
In the video, he said: "I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth and motivation, new meaning.
Reynolds adds: "Every Deadpool needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside, and I…I have nothing…yeah…just…completely…empty up there…and terrifying."
He continued: “But we did have one idea...”

At this point, Jackman casually walks in the background while munching on an apple, to which Reynolds said: “Hey Hugh, you wanna play Wolverine one more time?”
The Aussie star blithely responded with: “Yeah, sure, Ryan.”
Ah…if only Hollywood big-budget deals unfolded as swiftly as this.
As you guessed, the epic news sent fans into a frenzy, as one wrote: “Excuse me while I die.”

Another said: “For god's sake this is basically flawless.”
A third commented: “THIS IS THE HARDEST TEASE I’VE EVER SEEN.”

While another wrote: “This is genius marketing. Ryan Reynolds is really great at this.”
Very little is known about the third Deadpool film and Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter to reveal what’s in store for the MCU.
“How do we elevate it in the way we’ve been able to with Civil War, and Infinity War and Ragnarok?” said Feige.
“It’s very fun to be in the world of the Ryan Reynolds show.”

We cannot wait to see how this paring turns out after years of the two actors poking fun at each other.
