NFL player DK Metcalf has revealed that he has seemingly been chosen for a drug test by the league after a video of him performing a frankly gravity-defying jump – as well as an incredible performance in the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game – went viral online.
Here he is breaking the laws of physics with that jump:
Seriously, Cristiano Ronaldo might need to start taking a few tips from DK – real name DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf – after this performance.

And if you want any proof that Metcalf really does have a leap on him, then go check out the highlights from his NBA All-Star weekend appearance and see what you think.
As for the viral football video, the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver leapt into the air to take a pass, seeming to get further off the ground than many of Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets.
As well as the catching clip showing off his impressive athletic prowess, Metcalf also had a stormer in the NBA’s Celebrity All-Star Game, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks as Dwayne Wade’s team won the match.

Metcalf took home the game’s MVP award in Salt Lake City too, capping off his performance including one huge dunk, which certainly caught everyone’s attention.
Not least, the drugs testing folks who try to keep the NFL clean.
On his Instagram story after this weekend, he shared a text message that he’d purportedly received from NFL representative Brian Keller, requesting that he present himself for a performance enhancing drugs test.

The message reads: “Good morning DK,
“You've been selected for a PES policy collection tomorrow 02/20/23.
“Please contact me as soon as possible so that we may arrange a time and place to meet tomorrow.”
According to NFL's PES policy, players can be tested 'up to 6 times during the offseason' and the notification 'begins at the time you are informed either directly or when the message is left on your voicemail or when the text message is sent'.

The 25-year-old will obviously present himself for it, as it’s part of his job, but it could just be an odd coincidence that he’d have a blinder of a basketball game on the Friday, go viral for an incredible leap on the Sunday, then get randomly selected for a drugs test immediately afterwards.
And it’s not the first time that the Seahawks’ All-Pro receiver has gone viral for his mad athletic skills, with a play that saw him chase down the Arizona Cardinals Budda Baker also going viral back in 2020.
