Taking us right back into the mad world, this second film sees adult Lydia (Ryder) still being haunted by Beetlejuice (Keaton).
And Ortega plays her teen daughter, Astrid, as she 'discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened’.

So then, as we see in this new trailer, it's only a matter of time until we see Lydia say: "I can't believe I'm doing this...
"Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice."
With the previous teaser trailer only featuring one iconic line of dialogue - 'the juice is loose' - this official one lifts the lid a little further on Ortega's role.

And it makes it pretty clear what her stance is as she says: "Ghosts aren't real.
"Only gullible people believe that kind of cr*p."
Well, is she in for an absolute shocker.
The Bee Gees are singing 'Tragedy' as the trailer goes on, featuring a glimpse of some of Beetlejuice's typical crazy antics playing out.

William Dafoe also crops up as a ghost detective, with the trailer really ramping up excitement for the film's release in September.
Alongside Ortega and Dafoe, other newcomers to Beetlejuice includes stars Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti and Justin Theroux.
Fans had been promised that this second film would rely on those classic handcrafted effects that's so Burton-coded and the trailer seems to make it clear that they won't be disappointed.

“The other one was so fun and exciting visually, it’s all that but really beautiful and interestingly emotional here and there,” he said. “I wasn’t ready for that. It’s great.”
And fans are absolutely buzzing after this trailer, writing on X: "After all these years, we're running to theatres!"
Another wrote: "It looks like Tim is BACK BACK," as plenty are 'ready to get their tickets'.
One even added: "I loved this trailer so much the best trailer ever," as people say it 'looks fantastic'.
Oh, the juice is loose!
