Deadpool and Wolverine may only be releasing in three days’ time, but that hasn't stopped Marvel fans operating in overdrive trying to figure out who and what is going to be in the film.
Ranging from predicting cameos to trying to figure out the plot from the breadcrumbs left in trailers, many have been pouring over everything they can get their hands on to try and piece things together.
One of the big mysteries left unanswered from the trailers is the identity of ‘Lady Deadpool’, a variant of the Ryan Reynolds superhero with long blonde hair.

She was introduced in a recent promo, fuelling discussion around who could it be.
Was it Taylor Swift? Ryan Reynolds in a wig? Hugh Jackman in an even bigger wig?
Despite these excellent theories, the one most common answer seemed to be Blake Lively.

Lively is not only Reynolds’ wife, but in her own right a brilliant actor and with the film laden with cameos the expectation is she will make an appearance in some way.
Ahead of Deadpool and Wolverine's release on 25 July, Lively posted a picture on Instagram of her on the set of the film, with Reynolds in full Deadpool-f**ked-up-face make up.
The caption of the snap, which showed the pair kissing, read: “Brb I’m buying milky pens to write your name on my hand @Vancityreynolds [Ryan Reynolds’ account].”

Lively went on to discuss how proud she was of the movie and of her husband, stating that ‘it’s hard not to encourage my ladies to spot all the ways we’ve influenced [Deadpool and Wolverine].’
She added: “I’ve never been more proud. And I’ve given birth 4 times.”
Some may take this as simply a post proudly congratulating her husband on the release of his upcoming film in which he stars, writes, and produces.
Others, however, took this as an ironclad confirmation that she was going to be starring as Lady Deadpool.

One fan commented: “So does this confirm that Blake is Lady Deadpool? 'Cause I will take this as a YES!!”
Another said: “Choosing to be delusional and accept this as confirmation that you’re lady Deadpool and I’m SO EXCITED.”
A third fan commented: “Bro did I just get spoiled on Lady Deadpool.”

Some have even gone as far as to assume this is just a given that she is in the film, commenting: “Can’t wait to see you as Lady Deadpool! Get in those prosthetics.”
I am as optimistic as the rest of you, but until I’m sat in the theatre Thursday and see her on screen, I won’t believe it myself.
