Glen Powell says he ‘almost died’ while filming a cliff-top nude scene with Sydney Sweeney for their latest flick.
The pair star in upcoming rom-com Anyone But You, which premiered in New York last night - you can check out a trailer here:
A synopsis for the flick explains: “Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold - until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia.

"So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
In the trailer, viewers are given a sneak peek of one particular scene where the pair are stood atop a clifftop, where Bea fishes a spider out of Ben’s shorts prompting him to strip off in a panic.
Well, Aussie spiders aren’t known for messing around, are they?

While the scene may look like the perfect rom-com set up, Powell, 35, admits it was actually pretty dangerous to film.
Speaking to Variety on the red carpet, he said: “You just have to grip it and rip it on a scene like that.
“You know you’re not going to leave that filming day looking cool, so you just have to embrace it.
"Taking your clothes off on the side of a cliff in a hurry is not safe either. Nobody talks about that safety issue on set, where I almost died falling off a cliff taking my pants off too fast. But it’s a really fun scene, so it’s all worth it.”

And it turns out it wasn’t just Powell who feared for life on-set - his onscreen partner Sweeney also had a run-in with one of those aforementioned scary Australian spiders.
The 26-year-old recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she opened up about the incident, telling the host: “They told me it was trained. I don't know how you train a f***ing spider. There is no way.
“So we are filming and the thing just starts biting me but we are in the middle of the scene and I'm supposed to be screaming but then my screaming got a little serious.”

Sweeney says that the crew initially thought her reaction to the bite was her acting, which is high praise for her acting abilities, isn’t it?
She went on: “They thought I was making really serious dramatic choices in a rom-com.
“No one cut so I'm just sitting there with a spider on my arm biting me. And I'm screaming and just everyone is watching. Glen was the only one who was like, 'whoa, whoa, whoa, I think this is a little real'’.
“I thought I was going to die.”
