Avengers: Endgame was one of the biggest cinematic blockbusters of the modern age.
It was the culmination of so many Marvel movies and caused unprecedented hype in the industry..
Fans all over the world crowded into cinemas to see how the Avengers would take on Thanos after half of the universe's population got wiped out in Infinity War.

However, one person who did not see the film was someone who was central to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While Pepper Potts didn't have the biggest role in the MCU, she was constantly guiding Tony Stark through his battles and was the one who kept him on the straight and narrow.
Gwyneth Paltrow was the actor who played the iconic character through seven films but she told the crowd at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia: “To be honest, I stopped watching them at some point.

"I’ve never seen Endgame.
"I can’t keep track of who’s what. But I probably should at some point."
She explained that she was reluctant to even sign onto the first Iron Man film all the way back in 2008 that really kickstarted the MCU.
However, the team behind the production ensured that it wasn't going to feel like some big blockbuster that had no substance to it.

“The first film we did was very different from the rest because the studio didn’t think it was going to be a big hit,” she said. “They hired Jon Favreau to direct who was great. And they hired Robert Downey Jr., who was unhireable at the time. His career was at a very low point.”
But because no one knew what kind of reaction the world would have to a billionaire superhero in a fancy suit, they treated it like it was an indie film.
“We improvised almost every scene of that movie," she said.

"We would write scenes in the morning in Jon’s trailer. It was like doing an independent film.
"Then the movie was such a huge hit that then we didn’t make them like that anymore."
