Immersing yourself in the wizarding world of Harry Potter every now and again is what gets most people through the year.
Whether it's a sick day on the sofa, an excuse for a cosy film night or if you simply fancy watching the Hogwarts school kids run amok while trying to take down Lord Voldemort, the magical film franchise is the perfect thing to stick on.
But that isn't the case for some of the actual stars of the Harry Potter movies.
To be fair, the cast have already lived through the events of the eight films firsthand and probably cringe watching their teenage selves on screen - but I for one would have one of them playing at any given opportunity.

Tom Felton, who played the blonde bombshell and Hogwarts resident bully Draco Malfoy, revealed why he, unlike the rest of the world, doesn't binge the entire franchise on a regular basis - or at all in Felton's case.
The Surrey-born actor, 36, explained he still hasn't relived his days as the pale pure-blood wizard either, despite the final film completing the franchise being released back in 2011.
This probably shouldn't come as such of a shock actually, as Felton reportedly turned up to his audition as a self-assertive 12-year-old without even reading the Harry Potter books beforehand.
And that seemed to end up working out just fine, didn't it?

Anyway, the actor was previously asked about his choice not to rewatch the films he starred in during an appearance on The One Show in 2022 - and his answer couldn't have been more opposite to what Malfoy would have sniped back with.
Felton said it was 'semi-true' that he had not seen any of the Harry Potter films since shooting them, explaining: "They have been on over Christmases and when my friends ever see them and I'm in the room, they quickly flick it over to take the mickey out of a younger Tom."
But why has he been avoiding them like the plague for all these years?

Well, Felton continued: "I haven't rewatched them in their entirety in the sort of marathon-esque way that I look forward to and I hope to do, I just want to save that moment for when I'm slightly older... and possibly with Muggles of my own.
"So it's not a case of indifference, I'm just saving them for a special occasion."
I can't wait for the day a load of mini Felton's see their dad get smoked at Quidditch by Harry Potter.

Harry Potter himself, aka Daniel Radcliffe, previously revealed that he also actively 'avoids' watching the movies depicting his wand-waving antics and says his 'heart dies a little bit' every time he hears someone with it's theme song as a ringtone.
Despite the films catapulting him to global stardom and ensuring he'd never have to work another day in his life, the actor, 34, says he doesn't get any pleasure out of rewatching himself perform as the Boy Who Lived.
He previously scoffed: "It's like passing around baby photos of yourself, you know? It's not really...it's not an enjoyable experience."
